Xtramaths-Finished!

Last week I finished xtramaths. I practised my 3 facts: 24÷4=6 42÷6=7 72÷9=8. Then I answer them all right, and then it appeared a picture:

In the word box if you can't see well:
Tell your teacher or parent that you are finished with your current XtraMath program.

That means I finished XtraMaths!
 + - x ÷ I finished them all!  I'm the first one in our class! Maybe in our school!

Des Hunt Visit

The author Des Hunt came to visit us today.  He used chemistry and physics to teach us about writing.  He made it interesting and fun.  I learnt that you need a very good hook and you need a question or something to go with it to the next paragraph.

Today we watched two ads about burgers. It is very disgusting, I won't eat any of it.

Olden Days Handwriting

We did handwriting with a toothpick and ink because we are trying to feel what kids in the olden days write with.
I found it hard because the ink always dries out and it drips very often.
