Paul Cezanne Still Life

We tried to replicate Paul Cezanne's still life paintings. To the left is the original, and to the right is my version. I think that the colours that I used are too dark, and the brush is too thick to paint the details. The jar also looks crooked, and I will try to improve on that later. One thing I did learn is how to shade using darkening colours.

Room 5 and 6 Comparison Graph

We worked with Room 5 to compare statistics about ourselves.  Then we made it into a graph that compares the information we gathered.  My partner was Tim, and we made a chart about pupil's parents that are born overseas.

Water Experiment

On Monday 2nd December, Sally from Watercare came to teach us about where water goes after we flushed it down the toilet, sink, bath and shower.  At the end we did an experiment, where we mixed some salt into containers of water and add food colorings.  Then we made a rainbow with the food colorings in a little tube by holding our thumbs at one end and the other end will not drip.  Sally said that the more salt you put in, the more dense it is.  It will sink if its dense.  The water you used this morning might be drank by a dinosaur once!

Comparing Present and Future Education

I learnt that in Future Education there are lots of glass walls so there are not many wall spaces to put student's work up.
