History of Education in NZ


*There were free primary schools
for children 5-15 years old.

*In the past if children were
bad they would get the strap.

*In 1940 play centers were first started
in New Zealand.

*In the 16th century  Feather pens were
invented for students and teachers.

*Papers and pencils were not common in the school
supplies in the 1800’s.
