Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,

Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Fly's in the buttermilk,
Shoo, fly, shoo,
Fly's in the buttermilk,
Shoo, fly, shoo,
Fly's in the buttermilk,
Shoo, fly, shoo,
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Shoo, fly, shoo,
Fly's in the buttermilk,
Shoo, fly, shoo,
Fly's in the buttermilk,
Shoo, fly, shoo,
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.

Cows in the cornfield,
What'll I do?
Cows in the cornfield,
What'll I do?
Cows in the cornfield,
What'll I do?
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
What'll I do?
Cows in the cornfield,
What'll I do?
Cows in the cornfield,
What'll I do?
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
There's a little red wagon,
Paint it blue
ThereÃœs a little red wagon,
Paint it blue
ThereÃœs a little red wagon,
Paint it blue
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Paint it blue
ThereÃœs a little red wagon,
Paint it blue
ThereÃœs a little red wagon,
Paint it blue
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
Skip to my Lou, my darlin'.

Hello Mengchun,
ReplyDeleteYou have done a really fantastic piece of work. It really is a great song. I really like that you have added your source too. I don't know if this is a mistake but on the 30th and 32nd line it says "ThereÃœs a little red wagon,". Even if it it a mistake you have done a really good job.
Hello Mengchun,
ReplyDeleteI really like your Lyric and soundtrack. As Abdurrahman said you have some mistakes but you did a great job. I also try this lyric it was so nice.
You did a great job.
Sincerely Saruja
Personally, I think the mistakes are supposed to be there. Maybe there is some kind of special pronunciation to it?
ReplyDeleteMy theory: It's 'there goes a little wagon' but you join 'there' and 'goes' so... It's thereoes?
